Back in December, Bow Arts held our annual Bow Road Winter Market. We were thrilled to bring together 26 creatives from across Bow Arts’ studio sites and beyond, and open the doors to invite our community into the Bow Arts Courtyard.
A huge thank you to our artists, staff, and everyone who showed up on the day to support us and enjoy the festive atmosphere. It was amazing to see people connecting over the Nunnery Cafe’s delicious mulled wine and mince pies at the market stall– and to see the cafe so busy.
The Bow Road Winter Market is an amazing opportunity to browse and buy unique gifts and artworks from our community of artists, makers and designers. We are proud to highlight the abundance of talent at Bow Arts.
Our markets are friendly spaces for everyone to visit. This year, Bow Arts Artist Educator Rebecca Griffiths ran a seasonal printmaking session. Participants created cards and gift paper, with visitors of all ages choosing to get involved.
Bow Arts’ free family workshops take place on the last Sunday of each month.
Local markets are vital. They emphasise that investing in your local community and nurturing creative spirit brings together a neighbourhood, and strengthens the fabric of community life.
